The Family Place Foundation
The Family Place Foundation was set up in 2020 to improve the lives of adopted, fostered and kinship children and their families, who have been impacted by trauma.
We have all thoroughly enjoyed the 3 days. The children have met other children with similar stories and have enjoyed the attentiveness and expertise of all the staff to support and not judge them. Was great to be around others that understand daily struggles.

ClinicianI really enjoyed having the shared experience and participating in an activity where [my child] was the most skilled and by far the most confident as that gave her a really different experience from her time with [the clinician] and I during therapy sessions. It was really fun to have a go at horse riding and to share [my child’s] happy place with her.
