We are excited to be launching The Family Place Foundation.
This new venture has come from family feedback concerning resources they need but are unable to access.
We hope that the Foundation will be able to fill this gap in services and provide families with comprehensive support.
We have been busy applying for funding and have recently launched our first projects:
- Family Activity Days
- Parent/Carer Workshops
- Multi-Specialist Consultations
These projects are in their early stages but clinician and family feedback so far has been extremely positive.
In September, we welcomed our new Administrator, Jo Nelson, who will support the running of the charity and oversee our fundraising applications. We have been building momentum in recent months with many hours of voluntary support and with Jo’s help we hope the Foundation will truly take off.
We are looking forward to seeing what the future holds!
