The Oakdale Charitable Trust is a small, family run foundation which was established in 1946 by Brandon Cadbury, the youngest child of William and Emmeline Cadbury. The Trust supports charities based throughout Wales.
The Family Place Foundation is delighted to have been granted funding for Family Activity Days for Caerphilly based families. The main focus was on bringing families together, engaging in arts and craft activities and providing sufficient support to allow the parents and carers to have time to connect and form networks, as well as engaging in positive time together as families.
The feedback was extremely positive with 100% of the families involved rating the activities as a 9 or 10 out of 10.
