Our Participation Group launched in Spring 2022 following discussions around how to make our projects as helpful as possible to families.

Hearing the perspectives of parents and carers has given us crucial insight into how to tailor our projects.

A recurring theme is the importance of community, and connection with other families in similar situations.

We have already begun to incorporate these ideas into our work; we offer more space for connection and discussion within our Parent and Carer Workshops and we link up families through our Family Activity Days.

The group continues to make numerous suggestions for activities, projects, workshop topics and research – we have plenty to keep us busy and we are excited about bringing these ideas to life!
